Pittsburgh police investigate attempted bank robbery Downtown

Pittsburgh police are investigating a report of an attempted robbery at a Downtown bank today.

The first call for an attempted robbery at the First Niagara Bank in the 300 block of Sixth Avenue came in about 12:40 p.m., according to an emergency dispatch supervisor.

Additional details were not immediately available.
