By Martha Rial

Kid Rock joined Farm Aid founder Willie Nelson, Toby Keith, Dave Matthews and other charitable musicians, performing for more than 23,000 people who packed the Post-Gazette Pavilion in Burgettstown for the 15th Farm Aid concert to raise money for small family farms. Since Farm Aid began in 1985, it has granted $15 million to farm and service agencies and church groups in 44 states.

In his review of the concert, Post-Gazette pop critic Ed Masley wrote of Kid Rock's set, "No act could have touched it in terms of excitement, intensity, showmanship or fun."
