The Place: Soldiers & Sailors Memorial Hall and Museum in Oakland, Thursday night.
The People: More than 100 guests strolled through the museum, which came to life with interactive exhibits, war-time themed cocktails, as well as meet-and-greets with Abraham Lincoln and soldiers who answered questions about and reenacted moments from the Civil War, WWI and Vietnam. “What a treasure Soldiers & Sailors Museum is,” said guest Shannon Baird. “You need to have more events like this for people to discover this place.” Judging by the turn out, it seems as though more events will be on the way!
