The Bottom Line: “An Evening with Sharon Epperson,” personal finance correspondent and senior commodities correspondent, presented by United Way to benefit United for Women, drew more than 175 guests to the Fairmont Pittsburgh, Downtown, Saturday night.
The Evening’s Portfolio: WPXI’s Brittny McGraw emceed the dinner welcoming all into the dining room after a cocktail reception. After dinner, guest speaker Ms. Epperson explained how to make the most of your money and more.
Taking Stock: Among those interested in financial literacy, especially for women, were United Way President Bob Nelkin, event chairs Mary Lou Gegick, Jayme Butcher and Casey Ryan, Kenya Boswell, Pat Siger, and Emma Farley (Ms. Epperson’s daughter).
