Seen: Designers Kiya Tomlin, Lana Neumeyer, Jill Sandilla and Jazmin Jackson showed collections; Demeatria Boccella, zoo director Barbara Baker, Shanel Baker, Carey Abdulovic, Elizabeth DiPucci and Josie Romano strutted fashions down the runway. Seen taking a selfie with Ms. Wiggin was Bever-leigh Wisdom, who remarked, "Pittsburgh hasn't always been known for fashion, but I think local designers like Kiya Tomlin are helping to change that perception."

And Now a Moment With ... Actor and Pittsburgh native David Conrad:

What inspired you to get involved with the zoo? "I've always loved the zoo. When I was a kid, this was my escape. I literally become like a 5-year-old when I'm here."

Favorite animal? "I love the big cats. The zoo even let me feed a leopard once."

Least favorite animal? "I do not like bugs. I know they aren't technically animals, but I'm not a fan ... especially cockroaches."
