The Center for Theater Arts celebrated its Reach for a Star Gala at the Hilton Garden Inn at Southpointe on March 7.  The evening kicked off with a Patrons Reception Performance by CTA alumnus and Broadway veteran, Rema Webb.  Ms. Webb treated the audience to an evening of song and stories about the importance and value that art education plays in the lives of young people.

Executive Director Billy Hartung, along with guest emcee, Benjamin Lawry, embraced an audience of 300 attendees as they celebrated how valuable the CTA has been in the lives of thousands of children. The Gala came to an end with a rousing ovation for Ms. Webb and a cast of more than 50 students as they performed "Circle of Life" from "The Lion King."
