Bob Carter, president of Bob Carter Companies Fundraising and Philanthropy and a consultant in local, national and international fundraising, was the guest speaker Wednesday at Gateway Rehab’s 2013 Hope Has a Home Gala. The dinner at the Westin Convention Center Hotel was emceed by WTAE’s Sally Wiggin and drew more than 275 guests including Gateway president and CEO Paul Bacharach (with Valerie), board chair Paul Sweeney, Carol Carter and founder Dr. Abraham Twerski (delighted to share his new book, “The Rabbi & The Nuns”). The benefit supports the work Gateway Rehab does to help those affected by addiction “to be healthy in body, mind and spirit.”
