“Voices & Vines,” a benefit for the Homeless Children’s Education Fund, was held on Nov. 14 at the Pittsburgh Winery in the Strip District. The evening featured a concert by New York City-based musician Emily Forst, who made a special stop in Pittsburgh after her European tour. HCEF partners with 25 homeless housing agencies to provide the nearly 1,700 homeless children in Allegheny County with school supplies, after-school programming, summer camp activities and other efforts to help bridge the gaps for children experiencing homelessness and their families.
