The Magic of Mentoring recognition event drew more than 1,000 guests to Heinz Field Club East Lounge Thursday evening. Many came to pay tribute to David Malone, CEO of Gateway Financial, who was honored with the Thieman Award. Jim Rohr was the honorary chair with Charles Davis Jr. and Dan Onorato acting as co-chairs. Their efforts and those of the guests helped to raise $320,000 to benefit the Mentoring Partnership, which serves more than 26,000 children.
