Never underestimate the fun that can be had during A Night in the Woods. The annual benefit for the Audubon Society of Western Pennsylvania drew more than 175 people to Beechwood Farms Reserve Saturday night. This year's festivities were especially satisfying, thanks to a dessert table laden with various chocolate treats and a dinner catered by Andora Restaurant. Some guests were so tempted they were nibbling the desserts by Bella Christie and Lil 7's Sweet Boutique before they indulged in the pasta bar or pulled pork sandwiches. Nature lovers Libby Ernharth, Rebecca Myerburg and Sarah Stallings chaired the party, which grossed $40,000. "Thanks to the fundraiser, we'll be able to provide Audubon summer camp scholarships to an additional 60 children next year," said Rachel Handle of the Audubon Society. Among those enjoying the music by Paul and Jeff of Good Brother Earl as they roamed the silent auction were board chair Sally Tarhi, ASWP director Jim Bonner, Dan Fales, Christina Cochran, Lark and Hunter Champion, Kent and Renee Baldauf, Tom and Jo Ann Succop, Ginny Merchant and so many more.
