Pittsburgh Mercy Health System held its second annual Mad Hot Ballroom Pittsburgh event Saturday at the Westin Convention Center Hotel, raising nearly $35,000 for Dancing Classrooms Pittsburgh. The PMHS program teaches social awareness, confidence and other life lessons to children through the art of ballroom dance. Renowned ballroom dancer Pierre Dulaine, founder of Dancing Classrooms, served as emcee for the evening, which included a buffet dinner for 200 guests. Watching from the sidelines were honorary chair Noreen Campbell, volunteer judges Nan Cohen, Lynn Cullen, Virginia Montanez, and Corey O'Connor (spotted on the dance floor later with fiancee Katie Stohlberg) and Pittsburgh Mercy Health System president Sister Susan Welsh. Jane and Bob Bukk won the grand championship -- their first win but the second time Tobacco Free Allegheny's Team Orange took top honors.
