Paula Deen’s visit to the Barnes & Noble in Waterworks Mall next month has been postponed.
The Southern chef/author/restaurateur was scheduled to have been at the bookstore on Dec. 1 to promote her latest cookbook, “At the Southern Table With Paula Deen,” but it has been pushed back to Jan. 26, 2018.
“Paula is recovering from eye surgery and so we had to reschedule the Pittsburgh signing,” said her book publicist, P.J. Tierney of V.P. Publications PDV, in an email.
She will now sign books from 6 to 8 p.m. on Jan. 26 at the bookstore at 926 Freeport Road.
“At the Southern Table” is Ms. Deen’s 18th cookbook, and it features classic recipes such as oven-baked brisket, pecan praline banana pudding and cornmeal-crusted fried pickles and such new ones as ginger-walnut pumpkin bread, spiced buttermilk doughnuts and spicy fried chicken and cornbread waffles.
