“McDelivery” will launch at 44 locations in the Pittsburgh area, with UberEATS charging a $5 flat fee for restaurant-to-door service.
Lancaster-based Turkey Hill has announced it will bring back one of its ice cream flavors from retirement, and the company is asking customers to weigh in on which flavor should return through a March Madness-style showdown. Turkey Hill’s Facebook page and blog will display a 32-flavor bracket starting on March 21, and customers can vote for such old flavors as Chocolate Cherry Cordial, Strawberry Rhubarb Pie and Pineapple Upside Down Cake.
Winning flavors will move on to subsequent rounds of voting until a single flavor remains. The winner will return to shelves as a 2018 Limited Edition.
Voters will be entered into a random drawing for a year’s supply of ice cream. Details: icecreamjournal.com or facebook.com/turkeyhilldairy.
