Regina Koetters owns the place, but the name of her store on Smallman Street in the Strip District is Marty's Market.

"A person's name is welcoming, and Marty is gender neutral and ethnically ambiguous, making it all the more inviting and inclusive, and it permits us to cook any style of food here," says Ms. Koetters. Koetters' parents, Martin J. and Jacquelyn R. Koetters, live in Sarasota, Fla.
