Wine Maker Dinner Series: The Nittany Lion Inn in State College kicks off its Wine Maker dinner series with a five-course dinner with wine pairings by Two Hands Wines of Australia. Interestingly, one of Two Hands’ owners is Tim Hower, who earned both bachelor’s and master’s degrees from Penn State in the 1980s. He will be on hand to discuss Two Hand Wines during dinner. The menu includes peppercorn-dusted salmon with chutney and miso aioli, red wine beef stew with local vegetables, and roasted lamb lollipop with salsa verde. 5:30 p.m. March 23. $95.
