Macy’s locations across the region are rounding out August with a range of events for all sorts of shoppers.
On Wednesday, the Downtown store will hold a Little Italy Days celebration as part of its heritage series and timed with the tradition in Bloomfield. There will be Italian-inspired fun and festivities and, of course, Italian treats. Accordion music, Vespas from Mosites Motorsports and giveaways are other highlights. On Thursday and Friday, the store will gear up for the U.S. Gymnastics Championships at Consol Energy Center with music and a free gift with purchases of $50 or more while supplies last.
At Ross Park Mall and South Hills Village stores, bra-fitting specialists will help women find a style best suited for them at 11 a.m.-4 p.m. Thursday and Friday. A similar fitting event will take place 11 a.m.-4 p.m. Friday and Saturday at The Mall at Robinson and Monroeville Mall. Then discover how to enhance any look with M.A.C. makeup’s “A Novel Romance” color collection for eyes, nails and face. Appointments will be accepted for Thursday through Saturday at the M.A.C. counter at all four malls.
Meanwhile, The Mall at Robinson will offer back to school specials with a Radio Disney event at 1 p.m. Saturday. It includes crafts, games and the latest school styles. Those who spend $50 or more will receive a new backpack while they last.
