Black Friday not only brought out the sales for The Mall at Robinson, but also it brought awards.

The International Council of Shopping Centers awarded the mall its silver U.S. MAXI award for its “Shop Like a Rockstar” campaign. The award recognizes premier performance in marketing, community outreach, sales promotion and visual merchandising. The Mall at Robinson generated more than $175,000 in Black Friday publicity and 87 percent of its tenants reported an increase in sales.

Award winners were announced last month at the RECon Convention in Las Vegas. Shopping centers, shopping center companies, specialty retailers, marketing directors and general managers across the country were eligible. Learn more at www.shoprobinsonmall.com or www.icsc.org.
