HOLIDAY BEER FESTIVAL

More and more winter holiday events are starting to be publicized. Rivertowne Brewing announced yesterday that it will be holding a mini Christmas/holiday-themed beer festival at the Murrysville brewery from 7 to 10 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 14. "Tickets will most likely be in the $30 range and will be available on Showclix," according to a note from brand manager Megan Emanuel. "We know right now we will definitely be sampling the Rudolph's Red, a Christmas seasonal from the Pourhouse, a holiday seasonal from the Church Brew Works, Full Pint's Festivus and Fathead's Holly Jolly. Our goal is to add another handful of holiday/winter varietals to the lineup." Attendees will be asked to bring a wrapped toy to donate to the nonprofit "Project Share the Joy."
