Thomas T. Frampton of Goehring, Rutter & Boehm has been named a 2012 Pennsylvania Super Lawyer. Mr. Frampton, a former trial judge of 10 years, advocates for clients on behalf of financial institutions, natural gas and oil producers, as well as regional and national nursing homes and assisted-living operations. He also serves as a mediator and arbitrator.
Ansley Westbrook, a partner in Dinsmore & Shohl LLP's Pittsburgh office, was recently appointed to serve a three-year term as a hearing committee member on the Disciplinary Board of the Supreme Court of Pennsylvania. Mr. Westbrook's practice focuses on professional liability defense work in the areas of legal malpractice, bad faith and administrative licensure. Mr. Westbrook earned his J.D. from the University of Denver Sturm College of Law.
William J. Labovitz has joined the firm of Rothman Gordon as a litigator. Mr. Labovitz's practice centers on commercial litigation, and he will concentrate on complex commercial and business disputes. Prior to joining Rothman Gordon, Mr. Labovitz worked at K&L Gates, Lewis & Sargent, LLC, and Lynch Weis, LLC.
Mr. Labovitz graduated from Boston University School of Law. Mr. Labovitz is an adjunct faculty member of Point Park University, where he teaches communication law and regulation.
Grogan Graffam, P.C. said that Edward A. Schenck has been elected to the Academy of Trial Lawyers of Allegheny County. Mr. Schenck, a shareholder in its litigation practice group, has 30 years of trial experience and concentrates his practice in general civil litigation including construction, commercial, product liability, insurance coverage, bad faith, personal injury, premises liability and toxic tort. Mr. Schenck received his J.D. from the University of Pittsburgh School of Law and was a member of the University of Pittsburgh Law Review. He received his M.S. from American University.

He received his J.D. from the University of Pittsburgh School of Law, where he was an editor with the Journal of Environmental and Public Health Law.
