At 2 p.m. Nov. 18, Post-Gazette garden columnist Sandy Feather will give a talk on sustainable landscape practices at Northland Library, 300 Cumberland Road, McCandless (15237).
The program, which is free and open to the public, is sponsored by the Allegheny Chapter of the North American Rock Garden Society.
The Watchful Shepherd will present its Holiday Home Tour of five houses in Peters from 1 to 5 p.m. Dec. 2.
