Book offers organizing tips

Saturday, December 21, 2002

Local business organizer and speaker Patty Kreamer has just published a how-to book on getting organized with a what-not-to-say title: "... But I Might Need It Someday."

Patty Kreamer

That's a line clients try on her all the time, but Kreamer can be very persuasive. Her 228-page book, subtitled "How to Organize Your Life and WIN the Clutter Battle Once and for All," gives practical tips and systems for getting organized and staying that way, and it tells how to make hard decisions about "stuff."

"I help people understand why they are disorganized," she says. "Most people forget to look at themselves and their space. They just start shoving things away." She gets people to work with their spaces and their habits -- "to work for yourself, not against yourself."

The book, which retails for $17.50, is available via area bookstores and the Web sites Amazon.com and BarnesandNoble.com, as well as the Web site for her Green Tree-based business, Kreamer Connect Inc., www.kreamerconnect.com.
