![]() The Son-In-Law Dip
Alan Faneca: "So simple, yet so good! It is hard to walk away from. Once you've had it, you will be asking for more. In fact, my mother-in-law makes me my own when visiting!"
Drain the jalapeno chiles, reserving the liquid. Heat the cream cheese in a 6-by-6-inch baking dish in a 350-degree oven until soft. Remove from the oven.
Spread the cream cheese evenly in the dish and top with the chili.
For a spicy dip, pour the reserved jalapeno liquid over the prepared layers. Sprinkle with cheese and the jalapeno chilies. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes.
Serve warm with tortilla chips. Makes 4 servings.
