It's four days and counting for the Fourth of July, and all over Western Pennsylvania mouths are watering in anticipation of corn on the cob.
A few farms will have corn by the Fourth, but others expect their yellow gold more toward the end of the month. That's why it's a good idea to call before heading out to the corn patch, where you'll find one of the most delectable treats that can call itself a vegetable.
