Over 200 original works in a variety of mediums including, ceramics, drawing, graphic arts, painting, photography, and sculpture are presented in the Main Rittelmann Gallery.
Subject matter is wide-ranging, although numerous entries express a spring theme. The talent of the area is evident, the prices are affordable and the atmosphere of the deco gallery is relaxing and airy.

The Ballet Academy Of Pittsburgh proudly presents its second annual "Spring Celebration" at the university's Eddy Theatre.
In celebration of Pittsburgh's 250th birthday, this year's production will feature a brand new ballet choreographed to the music of famous composer Stephen Collins Foster. Also on the program are the "Prologue" and "Garland Waltz" sections from the timeless classic "The Sleeping Beauty", as well as excerpts from current Broadway hits "Footloose" and "Hairspray". Finally, the "Spring Celebration" will feature several new works, including choreography by Ballet Academy Of Pittsburgh Artistic Directors Lindsay and Steven Piper to Glazunov's "The Seasons".

In this hilarious play, two English Shakespearean actors, Jack and Leo, find themselves so down on their luck that they are performing "Scenes From Shakespeare" on the Moose Lodge circuit in the Amish country of Pennsylvania. When they hear that an old lady in York, PA is about to die and leave her fortune to her two long lost English nephews, they resolve to pass themselves off as her beloved relatives and get the cash.
The trouble is, when they get to York, they find out that the relatives aren't nephews --- but nieces.

Conductor Manfred Hoeck leads clarinet Michael Rusinek and the Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra in performances of works by the composers Verdi, Fletcher and Strauss.

At this party, members of the Amateur Astronomers Association Of Pittsburgh setup their personal telescopes (a wide variety of models) and offer visitors the opportunity to view celestial objects. Visitors can bring their own scopes to take advantage of viewing conditions at the site. Others use the occasion to simply view the stars and planets with their own eyes.
