Handicapping the players

As Pennsylvania continues its march into power deregulation, consumers face a dizzying array of electricity supply choices. Below are three charts that give current power rates for the region's three power companies, along with the rates and comparisons for the new suppliers.

Here's how much a typical Duquesne Light Co. residential customer using 600 kilowatt hours per month would pay and how much the customer would pay by switching to another supplier.
