Useless Flyers Trivia: The Flyers and the Devils are the only teams to have won the Atlantic Division title since 1995.
Best Flyers YouTube Video We Could Find: If you can find a better J.J. Daigneault video than this, you're simply a better person than we could ever hope to be:
-A broadcast of tonight's game is available through Yahoo to anyone in the United States outside of the Pittsburgh and Philadelphia markets. You can view it through this page.

EMPTY NETTER ASSISTS
-And who says the NHL doesn't get it? The Hockey Hall of Fame induction ceremonies with former Penguins center Ron Francis and former Devils defenseman Scott Stevens will be held on Monday at 7:30. Buuuutttt guess what. The Penguins and Devils are playing at 7:30 p.m. that night!
-Only the NHL would do something this stupid. Why in the world would you schedule any teams involved with those being enshrined that night? Why conflict Penguins or Devils fans in this way? Leave the date open for any teams with players going into the Hall so those fan can watch their players receive the NHL's ultimate honor. You don't serve your fan base by scheduling both events at the same time. Does anyone in the NHL's offices have a calendar?
-The induction ceremonies with Francis, Stevens, Mark Messier, and Al MacInnis is scheduled to be televised live on NHL Network Monday at 7:30 p.m.
-Ray Shero's not going to panic and trade Alain Nasreddine. So quit harping on it!
-The NHL officially announced that the Penguins and Sabres will wear retro jerseys for the AARP Winter Classic. We're psyched about the decision, but it strikes us as odd given how much the NHL has driven the Reebok Edge-Super-Duper-Mega-Ultra-Awesome-Humungo-Women-Will-Want-You Uniform System jerseys down our throats. You'd think they'd want to have these things on display in what might the league's most visible showcase of the season. That said, the throwbacks rock.
-Making the ice for the AARP Winter Classic won't be a simple process.
-In the AHL, Ty Conklin made 22 saves and led Wilkes-Barre/Scranton to a 3-0 win against Binghampton.
-In the ECHL, a hat trick by Adam Heinrich helped Wheeling top Reading, 6-2.
-Attendance at Islanders games is up 34 percent this season.
-Andrew Raycroft made 30 saves and recorded his sixth career shutout in a 3-0 defeat of the Sabres.
-Former Penguins forward Chris Thorburn scored his first goal of the season and helped Atlanta top the Panthers, 4-1. Time to fire Ray Shero.
-Patrick Kane, the top overall pick of this year's draft, recorded two points and led the Blackhawks to a 4-2 defeat of the Blues. He now has 19 points in 16 games this season.
-Despite taking a puck to the face, Dan Cleary was able to score two goals in the Red Wings' 4-1 defeat of the Blue Jackets.
-A game-tying goal in the third period and a game-winning goal in a shootout by Andy McDonald gave the Ducks a much-needed 3-2 win against the Sharks.
-Henrik Sedin scored two goals, including one in overtime to lift the Canucks to a 2-1 win against the Avalanche.
-The dangerous hit by Vancouver forward Matt Cooke on Calgary forward Daymond Langkow can be seen on this video at the 0:28 mark.
-In a shocking development, the NHL is rather defensive again.
