Correction published 2/15/2012: Local News: Catharine Murray Ryan's first name was misspelled in an article Tuesday about her being the recipient of Seton Hill University's Elizabeth Ann Seton Medal. The school in April will celebrate the 53rd anniversary of the award, which recognizes women whose achievements mirror the founder of the Sisters of Charity. Ms. Ryan also co-founded in Pittsburgh the National Institute for Newman Studies. The article incorrectly said the institute had its beginnings elsewhere.

Correction published 2/15/2012: Local News: The search for a new Allegheny County Jail warden is being conducted by the county's Warden Search Committee, with foundation funding. The process was mischaracterized in a brief in Tuesday's paper.

Correction published 2/14/2012: Sports: The Associated Press erroneously reported in a story in Monday's editions that the new $8.5 million Tournament of Hope was a World Golf Championship event. The tournament is sanctioned by the International Federation of PGA Tours, which separately also sanctions the four WGC events.

Correction published 2/13/2012: Page One: President Barack Obama said that "the insurance company -- not the hospital, not the charity -- will be required to reach out and offer the woman contraceptive care free of charge." A story in Saturday's paper used an incorrect verb
