The Pennsylvania School Boards Solicitors Association honored Barbara A. Graham, partner, Peacock Keller, with its President's Award for Distinguished Career Achievement. The award honors a school solicitor who has contributed to Pennsylvania school law and has donated energy and talent to the association, its members and Pennsylvania public schools.

Samuel W. Braver, shareholder, Buchanan Ingersoll & Rooney, received the 2013 Professionalism Award by the Civil Litigation Section of the Allegheny County Bar Association. The award is given each year to the lawyer who best exemplifies the highest professional standards. Mr. Braver represents a variety of commercial and financial institutions in state and federal courts regarding complex lending issues, complex commercial litigation issues, intellectual property issues as well as probate and trust litigation.

U.S. News and World Report announced its Best Law Firms and Best Lawyers of 2014, recognizing Dingess, Foster, Luciana, Davidson and Chleboski and three of its partners. DFL Legal's recognition includes both a national ranking and a Pittsburgh Metropolitan Area ranking for construction law and construction litigation. In addition, John Dingess, Joseph Luciana and Brian Davidson were all recognized for construction law and commercial litigation. Mr. Dingess was also designated a Best Lawyer for "bet-the-company" litigation.

David DuMont joined The Webb Law Firm as an intellectual property attorney with focus on litigation relating to patent, trademark, copyright and other intellectual property issues. Prior to joining The Webb Law Firm, Mr. DuMont completed a two-year clerkship under U.S. District Court Judge Cathy Bissoon, in the Western District of Pennsylvania.

Mr. DuMont received his J.D. from the University of Pittsburgh School of Law, where he received the Alcoa Scholarship, the Dean's Scholarship, and the Foreign Language Areas Studies Fellowship (Russian).

Mark K. Dausch, attorney, Babst Calland, was selected by The Legal Intelligencer as one of 2013's Lawyers on the Fast Track in Pennsylvania. This recognition is given to attorneys under the age of 40 who have demonstrated excellence in four categories: development of the law; advocacy and community contributions; service to the bar; and peer and public recognition.

A graduate of the Duquesne University School of Law, Mr. Dausch focuses his practice in the areas of commercial, products liability, toxic tort and environmental litigation. A sizeable portion of his litigation practice has involved defending clients in the natural resources and mining industry.

Dapper, Baldasare, Benson, Behling & Kane PC Workers' Compensation partners are all listed as 2014 U.S. News and World Report's Best Lawyers in America: Lawrence J. Baldasare, Stuart W. Benson III, David H. Dille, Harry J. Klucher (workers' compensation law -- employers).

The firm is listed with a Tier 1 Ranking in "Best Law Firms in Pittsburgh: Insurance Law and Workers' Compensation Law -- Employers." Mr. Dille is also named " Lawyer of the Year, Workers' Compensation Law -- Employers, Pittsburgh."

Mr. Baldasare, Mr. Benson and Mr. Dille also have been certified as specialists in the practice of workers' compensation law by the Pennsylvania Bar Association's Compensation Law Section.

Bill Lestitian, managing shareholder, Rothman Gordon, was appointed to the board of Seton-La Salle Catholic High School. Mr. Lestitian is also the head of the corporate and business department of Rothman Gordon. He earned his J.D. from the Pitt School of Law.
