Citizens Financial Group, Inc. promoted Dwayne R. Finney to division executive in charge of mid-corporate banking activities in Pennsylvania and the Midwest.

BNY Mellon appointed Stephen Lackey chairman of its Asia-Pacific region.

Gary L. Guerrieri was promoted to chief credit officer for F.N.B. Corp.

Apple Box Studios named Pamela Gerlowski marketing specialist.

AM Health & Safety Inc. hired Chad M. McClimans as vice president of operations.

Education

The Division of University Advancement at Duquesne University appointed Mary Beth Ford executive director of corporate relations.

University of Pittsburgh The Institute for Entrepreneurial Excellence said Lee Baierl, president and dealer operator of Baierl Automotive, has joined its Institute Advisory Board.

Health

Dr. Ali Sonel was appointed to serve as the chief medical officer for VA Pittsburgh Healthcare System after serving as the interim for nearly a year. He replaced Dr. Rajiv Jain, who accepted a position with VA Central Office.

UPMC Health Plan said Kimberly L. Cepullio was promoted to vice president, sales and account management, for UPMC Health Plan.

Allegheny Valley Hospital (AVH) is pleased to welcome the physicians of West Penn Medical Associates to the hospital's medical staff. Offering two office locations Dr. Andrew Adams, Dr. Michael Gluhanick, Dr. Brian Johnson, Dr. Christina Sabeh, specialize in internal medicine and are seeing patients at their Oakmont office at 333 Allegheny Ave.

Manufacturing

United States Steel Corp. hired David L. Britten as vice president, tubular technology & business development.

Nonprofit

The Frick Art & Historical Center elected Brian V. Ciaverella to its board of trustees. Mr. Ciaverella is executive vice president /sales manager in corporate banking at PNC Bank.

James J. Marnell was named director of senior services for LifeSpan Inc.

ACT named Barry R. Nathan to its Pennsylvania State Organization. Mr. Nathan is president of Leader Business Coaching.

Dr. William R. Poller of West Penn Allegheny Health System, was appointed to the board of the Pittsburgh Affiliate of Susan G. Komen for the Cure. Dr. Poller is director of Breast Imaging for West Penn Allegheny Health System and co-director of the Breast Care Center at Allegheny General Hospital. He also serves as associate professor of medicine with Drexel University College of Medicine.

Ronald McDonald House Charities of Pittsburgh appointed Eleanor Reigel as executive director.

Pittsburgh Disability Employment Project for Freedom named the following individuals to its board:
