The temperature will reach the high 80s today with relatively low humidity, according to the National Weather Service.
"It's actually going to be a fairly nice day although quite warm," Lee Hendricks, a meteorologist with the National Weather Service, said.
The heat index, or "real feel," will reach 76 degrees by 11 a.m., 76 by 2 p.m. and 88 by 5 p.m. -- just in time for the Kenny Chesney openers to start playing.
Mr. Hendricks said with temperatures like these, beer and soda are not the best choices for hydration.
Keeping cool is also important, so head protection can help with that.
And a cowboy hat?
"That would work great," he said.
