Pitt head coach Todd Graham announced some personnel changes with his team today.

Reserve defensive back Kolby Gray is transferring and reserve tight Dan Schneider is giving up football due to a shoulder injury.

Gray, a redshirt freshman from Houston, played in 12 games last season, recording 10 tackles and one sack. He will transfer to Baylor.

Schneider, of Avon Lake, Ohio, redshirted last season.

Graham also confirmed the signing of junior-college transfer Josh Brinson, a wide receiver from El Camino Junior College in California, who will be eligible to play this fall. Brinson, who signed with UAB coming out of high school in 2008 but failed to qualify, is one of four transfers to come to Pitt since Graham arrived.

Cullen Christian (Penn Hills) and Ray Vinopal (Youngstown Cardinal Mooney), who both played at Michigan last season, must sit out next season under NCAA transfer rules. They will be eligible for the 2012 season.

Brendon Felder, a Gateway High graduate who played at North Carolina last season, also is transferring in. Felder, who is transferring for family reasons, will petition the NCAA for a hardship waiver that would allow him to play next season. If he is denied that request, he will have to sit out a season under NCAA transfer rules as well.
