The Funny Bone comedy club is moving from Station Square to Greentree.
The club will be closed from today until April 9, when it will reopen at the Radisson Hotel in Green Tree. The opening act at the new location has yet to be announced.
In a release announcing the move, the club made a point of noting that there would be free parking at the Radisson. Station Square has paid parking, although validations are available at some of the restaurants.
Club spokeswoman Darlan Erlandson said the Funny Bone has had a lot of success with a recently opened second venue at the Four Points by Sheraton Hotel in Cranberry and decided to give Green Tree a try.
"[Co-owner Jeff Schneider] just felt the Radisson Green Tree was a good location based on the calls he was getting. There was a great demand for that area," Ms. Erlandson said.
