Man found in Panther Hollow dies; death ruled suicide

A Collier man died early today when he leaped from the Frank Curto Bridge on Forbes Avenue and landed in Panther Hollow below, the Allegeny County medical examiner said this afternoon.

The death of Gregory Kelly, 21, has been ruled a suicide. He died of blunt force trauma of the head and body, the medical examiner said.

A security guard found Mr. Kelly unresponsive at about 12:55 a.m. under the Curto Bridge in Oakland.

Mr. Kelly was taken to UPMC Presbyterian where he was pronounced dead at 1:07 a.m.
