James Kirk gives his friend Shawn McCafferty a push on a homemade swing in Catholic Bogside neighborhood in Londonderry. Bogside was where the Bloody Sunday massacre occurred on January 30, 1972, when the British Army opened fire, killing 13 unarmed men during a neighborhood march that the British government had declared illegal. The event touched off widespread unrest. The initials SFY stand for Sinn Fein Youth.
