Starz has picked up the 10-episode, filmed-in-Pittsburgh unscripted series "The Chair" to air this fall on the premium cable network. The show is a competition docuseries that follows two directors making two different movies based on the same script. The two films -- and the show about the making of the films -- were shot in Pittsburgh earlier this year with production offices at Point Park University.

The two films -- coming-of-age comedies about college freshmen who return home for Thanksgiving break -- will air on Starz, and viewers will have the opportunity to vote on which director deserves the $250,000 award.

Pittsburgh native and actor Zachary Quinto ("Star Trek," "Heroes") will be featured in the program, which was created by Chris Moore ("Project Greenlight"). Mr. Quinto is an executive producer of "The Chair" through his Behind the Door production company in association with Starz and Pittsburgh's Steel Town Entertainment and Point Park University.
