The musicians of the Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra present a day of chamber music at various times and venues throughout the Pittsburgh area. Exhibiting artist Barrie Kaufman and her collaborator Jason Forck discuss their Pittsburgh Glass Center project, which became the exhibition “River, Stream, Tap,” at 6 p.m. at the Pittsburgh Center for the Arts, 6300 Fifth Ave., Shadyside. Ms. Kaufman is a West Virginia artist. The exhibition, which examines the importance of water, was in part inspired by a 2014 spill of coal cleaning chemicals that contaminated the Charleston, W.Va., water supply.The project was supported in part by the Glass Center and Blenko Glass of West Virginia.
