Sneaky Mike's 'Temptation'

• Sneaky Mike (nee Michael Lubbert) -- self-described "Icon, Legendary Party Artist, Rapper/Vocalist/Producer, Yoga Teacher" -- is back with a new LP called "The Last Temptation of Sneaky Mike."

The plan is to celebrate the release and "another day of living and all things fun, creative and positive" Friday at the monthly electro dance party at Belvedere's, 4016 Butler St., Lawrenceville, with DJs Cucitroa and Dizcrepnnc and author Tricia Klinkhamer ("You=Love, If Not You Then Who").

The theme is Beach Party.

Sneaky Mike describes the album as a Snapchat into his mind -- "up-tempo, dancey, witty and fun," touching on grime, dubstep, electro-house and booty-house, along with tracks influenced by the likes of Aphex Twin, The Knife, James Blake, Thom Yorke and The Beastie Boys.

Titles include "I Look Like Skrillex," "Hello Sneaky" and "Aura," influenced by yoga and meditation. Contributing are producers Rsk, Comic Strips, Isaac Levine and Drunk Monkey (aka Dave Tappe), with vocal support from Powell (aka Juliet Bey), Jess Moss and more.

Beyond just the music, Sneaky Mike notes that he's "on a quest to discover new truths about the nature of the universe, become a mystic, and be a prominent factor in making the world a better place."

Doors open at 9 p.m. Sneaky goes on at midnight. Admission is $5. For ages 21 and older. www.facebook.com/getweirdpgh.
