'Need for Speed'

Rated: PG-13.

Suitable for: Mature 9- or 10-year-olds and up.

What you should know: Aaron Paul, Dominic Cooper, Imogen Poots and Michael Keaton star in this big-screen version of the video game.

Language: Mainly the s-word but a sprinkling of other mild expletives or crude terms.

Sexual situations and nudity: A few kisses and some ogling of women joggers. Plus, a man quits his job by shedding his clothes and walking through his office and out to the street. You see his bare behind several times.

Violence/scary situations: Lots of reckless racing and driving, including speeding against traffic and causing accidents minor, major and fatal. The most serious kills someone, and you see the car somersault in the air and burst into flames. The victim is not shown but his funeral is. Another accident sends someone to the hospital and leaves the driver with cuts. Yet another also ends in a fiery crash. Someone is framed for a crime he didn't commit, and a woman jumps from a second-story ledge to safety. Shots are fired from moving vehicles and foolish maneuvers, such as refilling a car's gas tank while it's moving, executed.

Drug or alcohol use: Adults drink beer, wine or champagne.
