Ticket information for Kurin talk at history center

Richard Kurin's illustrated talk about "The Smithsonian's History of America in 101 Objects" will start at 11 a.m. Saturday at the Heinz History Center.

His presentation will be followed by a question-and-answer session with the author and Andy Masich, president and CEO of the history center. Mr. Kurin will sign copies of his book, which are for sale in the Museum Shop.

Tickets to the event are $10 for history center members and $20 for nonmembers. Admission includes access to all museum exhibits. Advance tickets are available; call 1-888-718-4253 or at www.showclix.com/event/historyofamerica.

The history center, located in Pittsburgh's Strip District, is an affiliate of the Smithsonian Institution.
