Why can't Ike and Nate catch?

Why can't Ike and Nate catch?

Steelers Q&A with Ed Bouchette

Q: I'm a Steelers fan since 1976 and I'm tired of seeing Ike Taylor and Nate Washington drop footballs. Both are paid to catch them, the latter moreso than the former. Will the Steelers consider trading them for picks or another need position? Why have a CB and WR with great athletic talent who will only break your heart because ultimately they can't make a play?

Tedrick Bates, Montclair, N.J.

BOUCHETTE: I don't know what the weather was like in Montclair, but it was nearly freezing rain the entire game, steady, unrelenting. Those two weren't the only ones having problems holding onto the football. Randy Moss dropped two big passes for the Patriots, one in the end zone, and they muffed a punt. Those were bigger heart-breakers on Sunday than any the Steelers could not grasp.
