CV's Lohman captures third consecutive title

WPIAL DIVING

Chartiers Valley's Maria Lohman proved once again Saturday that she stands alone on the WPIAL diving platform with her third consecutive championship at North Allegheny.

Lohman was the lone girl to crack the 500-point mark at 540.15.

For the boys, North Hills' Noah Bostick showed his consistent growth by reaching the top as a senior with a score of 506.85.

Bostick came in third as a sophomore and second a year ago as a junior.

Fox Chapel featured three divers advancing to the PIAA event with Addison Lynch on the boys side and Miranda Simon and Emily Eams for the girls.

Lynch finished in fifth with a score of 398.95. Simon and Eams took second and fourth place, respectively, with scores of 414.10 and 380.10.

With the top six being chosen to advance to the PIAA event, freshman Kalli Bicket of Mt. Lebanon became the only first-year diver to advance, coming in sixth with a score of 369.90.
