While scouring YouTube for something fairly original to post, we came across this gem from a few years ago. It's Georges Laraque talking to ESPN (we believe) about fighting (literally) his way to the NHL.
WARNING: Racist language is used at 1:56 of the video.
IN CASE YOU MISSED IT MONDAY NIGHT

EMPTY NETTER ASSISTS
Penguins
-Tyler Kennedy and Kris Letang were selected to the YoungStars game.
-Alexander Ovechkin got paid. Will Evgeni Malkin?
-Despite 42 saves by Curtis Darling, the Wheeling Nailers were shutout, 2-0, by Trenton.
-Apparently ESPN still covers hockey. Two saves by Ty Conklin are among their plays of the week from last week:
And you can vote on which play was the best. Conklin's saves are 1-2 so far.
(Kudos to EN reader Rick Reigler of Akron, Ohio for the find.)
Northeast Division

(Hey, it was the announcer's call, not our's.)
Pacific Division
-Scott Niedermayer had a goal and two assist for the Ducks in a 4-2 defeat of the Stars. The Ducks are 10-2-2 since Niedermayer came out of "retirement."
-Check out the tic-tac-toe play Niedermayer scored his goal on:
-Stars forward Krys Barch and Ducks forward Brad May had the fight of the night last night:
-The best part of that was how Barch pointed out the glove to May so he wouldn't trip at 0:18 of the video.
-Ed Jovanovski had a goal and three assists while Shane Doan scored two goals and an assist as the Coyotes beat the Sharks, 5-3.
-Patrick O'Sullivan had a goal and an assist for the Kings in a 3-1 win at Edmonton.
