Why does vitriol from the election continue?

Why does vitriol from the election continue?

I’m amazed at the continued vitriol and divisiveness that our recent election has caused. What amazes me more, however, is that the very people who purport to be tolerant and accepting are the individuals doing the name-calling and being destructive in their communities.

When President Barack Obama was elected, there were very few (if any) protests and disruptive activity. It’s time to extend our president-elect the same consideration that was offered our current, sitting commander in chief.
