Lacking logic

Lacking logic

Toward the end of Moriah Balingit’s second article in a two-part series on why soon-to-be Pittsburgh mayor Bill Peduto wants to keep Act 47 in place (“Peduto Wants Oversight Board to Remain,” Dec. 30), she states, “agreements are hashed out by arbitrators who are not (my emphasis) allowed to take into account a city’s economic condition in outlining contracts.”

Holy legal insanity, Batman! Imagine trying to figure out what car, house or college tuition you can afford to purchase but you are not allowed to know how much money you have or what your income prospects are projected to be in the near and far future?

We deserve our unholy predicament.
