When a man -- Seth W. O'Donnell -- was acting erratically, finally stabbing a police officer with scissors ("Man Killed by Police Had 'Crazed Look,' " Jan. 5), wasn't it nice that he didn't have a Bushmaster?
For whatever reason, he didn't have a real killing machine. Isn't that nice for all in his vicinity?
Just think: We could have had a real disaster, batches of bodies, but what we actually have is a trooper with some new stitches and a dead man with evident mental problems. It's a shame he's dead, but better him than a dozen or so random victims.
