"South Sider" shuttles -- Free minibuses on Carson Street between Station Square and SouthSide Works through Aug. 27. Hours are 5 p.m.-2:30 a.m. Thursday and Friday, noon-2:30 a.m. Saturday, and noon-7 p.m. Sunday.
New "I-376 Corridor" -- U.S. Rep. Melissa Hart, R-Bradford Woods, announced $2 million has been secured to plan improvements for future I-376 corridor out the Parkway West and for Route 19 in Pine and McCandless.
PENNSYLVANIA TURNPIKE
Hulton Road Overpass -- Two-lane traffic pattern now in place on the bridge near Oakmont to accommodate widening of the turnpike. November completion.
INTERSTATES
I-376, Parkway East -- The 2.6-mile repair/paving work between Grant Street and Bates Street could be wrapped up this weekend, weather permitting.
I-70, Washington County -- One lane closed westbound for 5.4 miles between Exits 6 and 11 for milling, resurfacing.
I-79, Allegheny County -- Southbound side closed, traffic maintained on northbound side, two lanes in each direction, over six-mile stretch west of Pittsburgh, including Parkway West interchange.
PennDOT begins $3 million project tomorrow on I-79 bridges over Ohio River. Lane and shoulder closings between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m. daily, and single-lane restrictions on some ramps.
I-79, Butler County -- Off-peak resurfacing on 9.3 miles between Exit 96 and Lawrence County line.
I-79, Washington County -- Overnight single-lane restrictions between Laboratory and Lone Pine exits, 7 p.m.-7 a.m. weekdays.
I-79, Greene County -- Single-lane restriction for three miles south of Route 21 while PennDOT repairs damage from longwall mining. Also, weekday overnight restrictions, between the Route 40-Laboratory and Lone Pine Exit for patching, paving.
STATE HIGHWAYS
Route 8, Butler -- Replacing overpass at Route 422. Detour posted. Also, resurfacing on Route 8 between Routes 422 and 308 in Butler and Center townships.
Route 8, Etna-Shaler -- Traffic has been switched to new northbound lanes through area known as "Mae West Bend." Officer will assist with left turns from Route 8 north to Kittanning Street tomorrow and Monday because the left-turn lane will be closed for signal installation.
Route 8, Hampton -- Traffic reduced to one lane each way through December for $1.5 million replacement of the concrete box-beam bridge carrying Route 8 over Pine Creek. It's the same type as the span that collapsed onto I-70 in Washington County.
Route 22, Indiana County -- Construction on Penn View Mountain. Lane restrictions, changing traffic patterns.
Route 22, Washington County -- Resurfacing work in Hanover and Robinson townships to the Allegheny County line on hold because of the turnpike's Findlay Connector project.
Route 22, Westmoreland County -- Cozy Inn Bridge to Route 66, Delmont, one lane each way for reconstruction.
Also, restrictions for $33 million widening, reconstruction of 4 miles east of Route 981 in New Alexandria.
Route 28, Armstrong County -- PennDOT repairing concrete roadway, bridges over 2.9 miles in South Buffalo. Plan is to finish by Labor Day. One lane closed. No work while concrete cures.
Route 30, Westmoreland County -- Westbound closed, traffic maintained on narrow eastbound lanes between Claypike and Barnes roads, North Huntingdon.
Starting tomorrow, Route 30 reduced to one lane each way from Allegheny-Westmoreland line east to Park Street, North Versailles, nights only, for resurfacing.
Route 31, Westmoreland County -- Eastbound climbing lane in Mount Pleasant Township closed, part of widening from three lanes to four lanes.
Route 48, Monroeville -- Mosside Boulevard Bridge being replaced with four-lane structure at North Versailles/Wall line.
Route 51, Elizabeth-Forward -- Three miles restricted to one-lane each way for repairs, paving between Roberts Hollow Road and Allegheny-Westmoreland county line.
Route 51, Rostraver -- Single-lane restrictions from I-70 north to the Allegheny County line, through November. Work coordinated with the section just to the north in Elizabeth-Forward.
Route 60, Aliquippa -- One-lane restrictions through fall while PennDOT paves 6.2 miles between Center and South Heights interchanges.
Route 65, Leetsdale -- Traffic reduced to one lane for new Leetsdale Overpass between Ferry and Cross streets.
Route 88, Finleyville -- Delays in the heart of town while the intersection is rebuilt at Finley-Elrama Road.
Route 119, Hempfield -- Widening, resurfacing, new signalization south of Greensburg. Lane closures, restrictions.
OTHER ROADS
Allegheny River Boulevard, Penn Hills and Verona -- Possible delays tomorrow through mid-July during tree removal and trimming.
Babcock Boulevard, McCandless -- Single alternating lane of traffic 8 a.m.-4 p.m. weekdays while 2.7 miles are repaved between Route 910 and Pearce Mill Road in Pine and McCandless.
Bethel Church Road, Bethel Park -- Intermittent single-lane closures start July 5 near the Upper St. Clair line for paving. October finish.
California Avenue, Pittsburgh -- Changing traffic patterns during replacement of 35-year-old bridge over Route 65.
Collier Avenue, Heidelberg -- I-79 overpass closed through late September as part of the interstate project.
Ewing Road, Collier -- I-79 overpass closed through late September as part of the interstate project.
Flaugherty Run Road, Findlay -- Ramp to Route 60 south toward the airport is closed, part of Findlay Connector construction. Detour via Business Route 60.
Grant Avenue, Etna -- Bridge carrying Grant over Pine Creek closed through November while a two-lane, two-way bridge is built, part of Route 8 Mae West Bend project.
Greentree Road, Scott -- Northbound reduced to a single lane through August between Forsythe Road and Chatham Park Drive to build roadside bus stop.
Northern Pike, Monroeville -- Traffic reduced to a single, 12-foot-wide lane between Pitcairn Road and William Penn Highway.
Perrymont Road, McCandless -- Single, alternating lane, 8 a.m.-4 p.m. weekdays, tomorrow through August, for resurfacing between McKnight Road and Perry Highway.
Saltsburg Road and New Texas roads, Plum -- Paving begins tomorrow on 2.25 miles of Saltsburg between New Texas Road and Route 286 and on New Texas between Saltsburg and Leechburg roads. No restrictions during peak travel times. Single, alternating lane controlled by flaggers at other times.
Saxonburg Boulevard, West Deer -- Single, alternating lane, 8 a.m.-5 p.m. Monday-Saturday for several months. Paving 2.6 miles between Bairdford and Bakerstown/Culmerville roads.
South Main Street, Butler -- South Main and Burgh Avenue closed at Pittsburgh Road-Morton Avenue intersection as part of $23 million project. They'll reopen July 9.
Wexford Run Road, Marshall -- Single alternating lane, 8 a.m.-4 p.m. weekdays through mid-July, resurfacing between Route 910 and Oak Grove Road.
MAJOR BRIDGES
31st Street Bridge, Pittsburgh -- Closed for rehabilitation. Use 40th Street Bridge or 16th Street Bridge.
Anderson Bridge, Schenley Park -- One-lane restrictions for four months as the city repairs the concrete barriers and closed sidewalks with holes on the Boulevard of Allies to and from the park. The bridge crosses Panther Hollow.
Homestead Grays Bridge -- Upstream lanes closed. Fifth Avenue ramp reopen to "Right Turn Only." Also, Amity Street and rail crossing now open to exit The Waterfront.
Liberty Bridge -- One lane at a time closed 8 p.m. to 5 a.m. weeknights for cleaning.
