Caption Contest 270 ... Winners of CapCon 269

Stacy Innerst is the artist. You are the caption writer.

CapCon 269’s sign-carrying protesters [click on second image] brought a slew of sly references to remote controls, VCRs, boom boxes, Netflix and the like, with a long-distance submission from the comedy-loving Second City placing first. CapCon 270 offers locals, expats and everyone else a chance to have a whale of a time fishing for the most catchy captions.

Send up to three entries to page2@post-gazette.com or mail to: Caption Contest/Portfolio, Post-Gazette, 34 Blvd. of the Allies, Pittsburgh PA 15222. Please include name and address and identify your municipality or Pittsburgh city neighborhood. Deadline: Sept. 7. Winners receive a PG umbrella, unless you are one of the many Steelers hurting the team by a suspension for drug use.
