Caption Contest 121 brought a slew of sly responses in the realm of canines and reindeer, which were hard for judges to whittle (though we had to). The new contest focuses on many Pittsburghers' favorite place, the gridiron, so we hope for a great volume of wit from it.
Send up to three entries to page2@post-gazette.com or mail to: Caption Contest/Portfolio, Post-Gazette, 34 Blvd. of the Allies, Pittsburgh PA 15222. Please include name and address and identify your municipality or city neighborhood. Deadline: Jan. 4. Winners receive a PG umbrella which, unfortunately, doesn't scrape ice off your sidewalk or car any better than you would think.

"Trophy buck; trophy husband. Count me gone if she enters me in the Westminster Dog Show."
Tom LaBuff, Monroeville
"And I thought getting neutered was traumatic."
Aaron Tyburski, Pleasant Gap
"And then, one Christmas Eve, Rudolph met someone who played a very different kind of reindeer game."
Robert Wolf, Stanton Heights
