How to watch the inauguration

Donald J. Trump will take the oath of office outside the Capitol today to become the 45th president of the United States.

Expect plenty of pomp and a good deal of protest, too, as hundreds of thousands of people descend on Washington to mark the occasion.

Here is a guide to how to stay on top of the main inauguration events and festivities:

▪ On TV: Coverage of Inauguration Day will be carried live by ABC, NBC, CBS, CNN, PBS and Fox News.

▪ Online: Many news sites will carry LIVE feeds of the festivities, including here at the Post-Gazette. We’ll have live video and real-time updates from our political reporters and photographer.
