Carnegie Mellon University Wednesday announced a dual-degree undergraduate engineering program with India's Shiv Nadar University (SNU), a newly formed technology university.
The dual-degree program, which represents a furthering of CMU's educational partnerships in that country, initially will consist of a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical and Computer Engineerin or a Bachelor of Science in
Mechanical Engineering from CMU, and a Bachelor of Technology degree from SNU, Carnegie Mellon officials said.
About 10 to 20 students are expected to enroll the first year of the program, which starts in August 2013. Students will study at SNU near new Delhi as well as in Pittsburgh.
